What is the method of scouring:
Immerse the forming mold installed on the suction filter device into a fixed tank (in the molding machine), which contains a certain concentration of diluted slurry (the diluted pulp in the fixed tank is circulated by a pump), which is sucked by vacuum negative pressure. Over time, a certain amount of paper fibers are adsorbed on the mesh surface of the suction filter mold. After the forming mold moves away from the fixed groove, the vacuum suction is stopped. This method of forming a wet blank is called the method of dredging.
The uniformity of the pulp molded product (paper support) under the method of removing the pulp is mainly affected by the uniformity of vacuum suction on the surface of the mold, the stability of the pulp concentration, the time of vacuum suction and the stability of the vacuum degree. ***Uniformity is impossible. The uniformity of wet billet forming in the slurry method mainly depends on:
(1) The uniformity of vacuum suction on the mold surface
The size and uniform distribution of the suction filter holes of the mold are the basic prerequisites for ensuring uniform thickness of pulp molding and paper support products, consistent repeatability, and improved yield. The uniformity of vacuum suction on the mold surface is determined by the mold structure and the shape of the suction cavity, the size distribution of the suction filter holes, the number of filter layers and the number of meshes.
(2) Stability and uniformity of slurry concentration and filtration performance
Because the pulp concentration in the slurry tank will change during the suction process, the suction time will not change, and the thickness of the wet blank will also change. The resulting pulp molding and paper support products have inconsistent weights, which affects the yield. Generally, the slurry is stirred to maintain the uniformity of the slurry, and pumps and supplementary slurry are used to control the slurry concentration and the stability of the slurry level. However, it is difficult to maintain the slurry concentration and slurry level unchanged. This is the shortcoming of the slurry fishing method.
(3) Vacuum suction time
When the slurry concentration changes, the thickness of the pulp molding and paper support products can be adjusted by changing the vacuum filtration time. It is necessary to weigh the weight of the paper support products regularly, and adjust the vacuum suction time in time to maintain the uniformity of the products and increase the yield.
(4) Stability of vacuum
Since there is more than one device, often multiple devices work together, so the vacuum degree will be inconsistent during each vacuum suction, the same pulp concentration and suction time, the thickness of the product is also inconsistent, which will affect the yield of the product . This is uncontrollable, and it is also a shortcoming of the method of scouring.
